A hello! Happy Friday! Sticks and Stones!

A few pictures of our newest Little....meet Chloe!

If only you could have seen all the other children making faces to try to get smiles!

Addie doing what she loves...she would be a wonderful teacher...or President:-)

Some of our "wonders" that we collected on our nature walk today. Fall is definitely in the air but we are sure enjoying the last few warm days!

Pictures of our activities....

J and A making their yarn apples. Messy work with watered down glue! Remind me to not put so much water with the glue as they took forever to dry!

Absolutely worth the time it took them to dry...they look so pretty in the window!

Some of the children's red activities. I love the apples made with clear plastic lids and tissue paper -- so pretty when the sun is shining!

Ikea salad spinner!

Best thing ever for the housekeeping center - Ikea salad spinner for $2.99! Thank you Maryanne for purchasing a second one for us! You would think after 28ish years of child care I would never purchase just one of anything! :-)

Terrific Tuesday!

A few pictures from this morning. The children made "bottle collages" from strips of paper, red, white, some yarn and crimped paper. It took some fine finger work to get strips of paper in the small opening of the bottle.

Liam working on his collage.

Our bottles look wonderful hanging in the window. The children were thinking that a few with colored water should join them -- love it when they decide what should happen next:-)

Yarn Board

Addie working on her red yarn board.

Piece of cardboard I covered in clear contact paper, red yarn already cut. We will do a variation of this all year with different colors, having the children cut the yarn, etc. Addie placed her yarn in straight lines after experimenting a bit with different ways first.

Some fun pictures from our first week of September!

Our end of summer bbq! The children had so much fun running through the "mister thingy" -- thank you Den for making it available!

Scarlett working with the 100 apples tray...that is a lot of apples but she stuck with it and did them all!!!!
Nico thought this was pretty fun.....evident by the huge smile!

Addie rolling her apple in red paint...kind of like bowling:-)
